Key Responsibilities:
SAP Manufacturing Expertise:
o Analyze, design, and implement SAP solutions within PP (Production Planning), MM (Materials Management), and QM (Quality Management) modules.
o Help understand SAP-related issues in manufacturing, including production orders, BOMs, routings, and inventory management.
o Support SAP initiatives and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing workflows.
Implementation Support & Liaison Role:
o Attend meetings to stay aligned on SAP implementation progress.
o Gain a deep understanding of the current implementation status and roadmap.
o Ask critical questions to clarify processes, timelines, and system configurations.
o Translate SAP processes and terminology into understandable concepts for Ulterra stakeholders who may not be SAP-savvy.
o Serve as a liaison between technical teams (internal and external) and business units to ensure clear communication and alignment.
Process Improvement & Documentation:
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business processes.
o Develop and maintain documentation for business processes, configurations, and training materials.
o Lead or support SAP projects related to manufacturing, including system enhancements, data migration, and process automation.
o Provide end-user training and support to ensure effective use of SAP systems.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as an SAP Business Analyst, with a focus on manufacturing modules.
- Deep understanding of SAP PP, MM, and QM modules
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Experience in discrete manufacturing environments, preferably in oil & gas or industrial equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with SAP integration to MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Project management experience or certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
