Our company is seeking a dedicated and experienced CNC Programmer to join our dynamic manufacturing team. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, innovative environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and improving CNC programs, ensuring the highest level of efficiency and quality in our manufacturing processes. If you have a passion for precision, a commitment to quality, and a keen eye for detail, this could be the perfect role for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machinery using CAD/CAM software.
2. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and design data to calculate correct part dimensions.
3. Adjust machine settings and tool paths as necessary to ensure maximum efficiency and precision.
4. Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and production managers to design and implement new manufacturing processes.
5. Test new programs and machinery to ensure they meet all safety and quality standards.
6. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs and machinery.
7. Train machinists and other staff on the use of CNC programs and machinery.
8. Keep up-to-date with advancements in CNC programming and machining technology.
9. Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines to ensure their longevity and reliability.
10. Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency with CAD/CAM software.
3. Strong knowledge of CNC programming languages (G-code, M-code).
4. Proven experience as a Machinist.
5. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and team-working skills.
8. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
9. Flexibility to work day shift hours.
10. A strong commitment to adhering to health and safety regulations.
11. A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
