Application Programmer

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business and System Analyst team to understand the system requirements and translate them into low-level design and implement the application code as per the standard coding pattern and guidelines
• Unit test the code and package the code for deployment to higher lanes all up to Production environment
• Responsible to work with quality assurance and product certification teams to provide support and fixes identified during the lifecycle of application testing and certification

Requirements:

• Working knowledge and experience of Microsoft.Net Framework 4.0 or higher with proficiency in .Net Core, C#, and WCF services
• Strong understanding of the structure and logic of Object-Oriented programming
• Expertise in web technologies including ASP.Net, .Net MVC, client-side technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap
• Experience on WebApi
• Working knowledge on HandleBar/ AngularJS/ React, JavaScript, jQuery, client-side technologies
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Knowledge of Oracle and T-SQL
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and demonstrates a willingness to accept additional responsibilities and projects

Desired skills:

• Experience in Core Java, developing J2EE Applications involving JSP and Servlets
• Experience with IDE like Eclipse or NetBeans or IntelliJ
• App Server experience in deploying J2EE applications using WebSphere or Tomcat or Apache

Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06
