Job Details

Our client, a leading CPG manufacturing company, is looking for a Data Scientist - Digital Commerce Marketing Analytics. This is for an initial duration of 12 months and is a REMOTE position.

Job Type: Contract (Candidates must be in the US and be able to work on W2 without VISA sponsorship)

Digital Commerce Marketing Analytics (Consultant)

  • This role will focus on leveraging advanced analytics to drive insights and optimize digital commerce and retail media strategies.
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with digital commerce related technologies and a strong background in data science, advanced analytics and data to drive business outcomes.

Experiences sought:

  • Deep hands-on experience with advanced analytics on platforms on or similar to Amazon Ads, Amazon Marketing Cloud, Amazon DSP, Walmart Scintilla, Kroger Collaborative Cloud, Google Ads, Facebook Ads or similar clean room applications or worked in search engine optimization or search bidding optimization supported by CLV, RFM or similar propensity modeling using first party data assets.

Ideal candidates should possess:

  • A strong familiarity with marketing terminology, including but not limited to: Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), Impressions, Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate, Glance Views, Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Customer Lifetime Value (CLV), Attribution Modeling.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data science and advanced analytics, preferably in digital commerce or retail media.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing metrics and KPIs as stated above.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Knowledge of digital advertising platforms and tools (e.g., Amazon Marketing Cloud, Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
