We re building a greenfield, federally regulated financial trading platform a novel Futures Commodity Commissions Market (FCM) for binary sports prediction markets. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you ll be pivotal in architecting, designing, and building core components of this real-time trading system.

This isn t a management position it s a high-impact, hands-on engineering role suited for developers who love building scalable systems and leading by example.

  • Architect and implement core backend services for:

    • Real-time Order Management System (OMS)

    • Clearing house integrations for trade settlement

    • Regulatory compliance (CFTC, NFA)

    • Reconciliation and reporting systems

  • Write performant, production-grade code in .NET Core (C#) and C++

  • Build secure, scalable APIs for seamless frontend integration

  • Deploy and monitor services in a cloud-native AWS environment (DynamoDB, Kafka, EKS, etc.)

  • Collaborate across product, compliance, and frontend teams

  • Mentor team members while remaining hands-on with development

  • Exposure to regulatory frameworks (CFTC, NFA)
