Lead .NET Developer / Architect (C# .NET Core + C++)

We re building a greenfield, federally regulated financial trading platform a novel Futures Commodity Commissions Market (FCM) for binary sports prediction markets. As a Lead Backend Engineer, you ll be pivotal in architecting, designing, and building core components of this real-time trading system.
This isn t a management position it s a high-impact, hands-on engineering role suited for developers who love building scalable systems and leading by example.

Architect and implement core backend services for:
Real-time Order Management System (OMS)
Clearing house integrations for trade settlement
Regulatory compliance (CFTC, NFA)
Reconciliation and reporting systems
Write performant, production-grade code in .NET Core (C#) and C++
Build secure, scalable APIs for seamless frontend integration
Deploy and monitor services in a cloud-native AWS environment (DynamoDB, Kafka, EKS, etc.)
Collaborate across product, compliance, and frontend teams
Mentor team members while remaining hands-on with development

12+ years of backend development in high-performance, regulated environments
Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core and C++
Built/maintained trading systems or similar financial platforms
Deep AWS knowledge and production deployment experience
Familiarity with financial lifecycle processes (order routing, clearing, post-trade)
Exposure to regulatory frameworks (CFTC, NFA)
Excellent API design, debugging, and problem-solving skills

Experience in sports betting or binary prediction markets
Past work with federally regulated systems (not just state-level)
