Senior Java Developer (Medicare)

Duration: 12 Months CTH

Location: REMOTE

Job Description:

Developer is responsible for maintaining and enhancing our Integration Layer which is a combination of Jacada wrapped in Java.

The Jacada portion of the system is to scrape data from mainframe shared system screens.

The data payload is packaged in XML/JSON for return utilizing a custom Java application/framework.

Data is uploaded to an Oracle database for consumption by Call Center users via the NGD/Siebel application.

We leverage Agile practices, while the shared system maintainers utilize Waterfall practices.

Our work is tracked in Jira and our deployment framework is Jenkins. Git is the source code repository.

Top 3-5 Must-Have Skills:

3-5+ years of industry experience required

3-5 years of experience with Java EE (Latest Version), Rest APIs, SQL, Oracle Database and XML/JSON

2-3 years of experience with Python (Big Plus, Client uses)

2-3 years of experience with Jacada (Big Plus, Client uses)

Waterfall/ Agile Methodologies (Big Plus, Client uses both)

Jira/ Jenkins (Big Plus, Client uses both)

Git/ Eclipse (Big Plus, Client uses both)

Oracle Service BJDeveloper (Client Uses)

Tomcat Server (Client uses)

Medicare Part A/ B Experience (Big Plus)

Certifications or Degrees Required: BA/ BS Required, Certifications are nice to have.
