Business Analyst, eCommerce
El Segundo, 3x onsite per week
$100K - $125K + benefits
We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in El Segundo, California. This role focuses on enhancing ecommerce operations by collaborating with stakeholders, gathering requirements, and delivering effective solutions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in ecommerce platforms and a strong ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for ecommerce projects.
Document detailed business processes, functional specifications, and project scope to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Manage and track project tickets using tools like JIRA and Confluence, ensuring timely resolution.
Work closely with engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform gap analyses to identify areas for improvement within ecommerce systems.
Lead Agile Scrum sessions to facilitate communication and progress tracking across teams.
Contribute to the implementation and optimization of platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, or similar systems.
Provide insights and recommendations to enhance ecommerce functionality and user experience.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends in retail and ecommerce to inform strategic decisions.
Ensure project deliverables align with business objectives and timelines.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with ecommerce platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, Magento, or others.
Strong background in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder collaboration.
Proficiency in managing tickets and workflows using JIRA and Confluence.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and their application in project management.
Experience in the retail or ecommerce industry is required.
Ability to conduct gap analyses and propose actionable solutions.
Excellent communication skills to bridge technical and business teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
