Job title - Compensation Specialist
Location: Waltham, MA
Duration: 6 Months
Hybrid: Will be required to go to the office once a month, sometimes a few times a month when needed. As required by team

Overview:
We are looking for a driven and knowledgeable Specialist, Compensation to join our Global People and Culture team! In this role, you will assist with the ongoing review of the global (US and UK) market benchmarking strategy and development of our Market Reference Points; you will ensure integration of the strategy within overall HR and regional policies to achieve and support business objectives. You will also assist with managing the recognition process and platform (Appreciate). You ll support HR Business Partners and US business managers on compensation in order to encourage effective, joint-up reward practices that deliver the organization's vision, values, and ways of working. You ll conduct analysis and metrics required for decision-making.
Key Accountabilities:
Experience providing compensation management, ideally within a large, global, or utility sector organization.
Developed reward strategies and solutions involving base pay, variable pay, annual and longer-term incentives and have a track record of delivering design and implementation of reward strategies together with extensive reward industry/product knowledge.
You ve experience working at both a strategic and operational level and have practical knowledge of job analysis, external benchmarking, and market analysis.
Experience completing annual compensation and budget surveys.
Assist with reporting and data analytics.
Assist with global benchmarking and market pricing functions through the PayScale system.
Assist with administrative duties as needed.
Required Skills:
Experience:
Interpersonal, Supervisory, or Management
Bachelor s Degree or equivalent
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
Proficiency with HRIS Systems and compensation planning tools
Experience in utilizing analytical and problem-solving skills to facilitate the analysis of data
