Job Details

Job Summary: The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing OCI environments, managing integrations, and supporting infrastructure services across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS platforms. This role involves configuring OCI services, troubleshooting issues, implementing FinOps best practices, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards. The engineer will also contribute to multi-cloud and hybrid cloud strategies. Key Responsibilities: Maintain and manage OCI environments, including configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades. Administer OCI services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and others. Support Oracle Fusion integrations and ensure seamless connectivity across platforms. Implement and manage OCI tagging strategies for resource tracking and traffic flow monitoring. Apply FinOps best practices to monitor cloud spending and optimize resource utilization. Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and security policies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration and infrastructure needs. Work within ITIL or similar frameworks to manage incidents, service requests, and change control. Support patching, environment refreshes, migrations, and upgrades. Contribute to infrastructure design and solution sizing for hardware/software platforms. Required Qualifications: Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Experience with Oracle Fusion and integration architecture. Knowledge of infrastructure technologies including compute, storage, networking, and cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS). Familiarity with infrastructure management and monitoring tools. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Understanding of cloud security best practices. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) and open-source packages. Exposure to FinOps practices and cloud cost optimization strategies. Education: Bachelors Degree
