- Design, implement, and manage manufacturing processes and equipment, ensuring optimum efficiency and quality.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Kaizen principles to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve process efficiency.
- Develop and implement cost reduction strategies to maximize profitability while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Utilize 6S methodology to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Conduct root cause analysis using Fishbone Diagrams to identify and address production issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute manufacturing projects.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry safety and quality standards.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and other team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of latest manufacturing technologies and trends, recommending and implementing appropriate upgrades.
Job Details
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Proven experience with Kaizen, Process Engineering, Quality Control, Cost Reduction, 6S, and Fishbone Diagrams.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and liaise with various stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CAD software and other engineering tools.
- Knowledge of industry safety and quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing team members.
- Certified in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodology would be a plus.
