Role: Cloud Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: Long Term Contract
Pay Rate: $60-$65/Hr. W2
Minimum Requirements: ( Must have Qualifications)
1. Minimum 5+ years of strong hands-on systems engineering or administration experience.
2. In-depth experience with container technologies such as Docker, Mesos, or Kubernetes.
3. Experience supporting and maintaining IT Public/Private Cloud Infrastructure, including virtualization and container platforms.
4. Skills in configuring, deploying, and maintaining Cloud Infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
5. Experience with major cloud infrastructure and platform services (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
6. Proficiency with Git source control systems (GitLab, GitHub) and ability to assist others in troubleshooting.
7. Experience with configuration management systems for cloud infrastructure and operating systems (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
8. Strong understanding of web application stacks, proxies, load balancers, and firewalls.
9. Working knowledge of networking and ability to implement secure cloud and hybrid networks.
10. Understanding of security best practices.
11. Ability to isolate problems, perform in-depth analysis, provide solutions, and inform appropriate stakeholders.
12. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

1. Demonstrated coding experience with interpreted programming or scripting languages like Python, Bash, GoLang, or JavaScript.
2. Ability to maintain critical services and provide visibility to internal teams.
3. Experience seeking opportunities to improve or optimize processes through automation and code.
4. Experience with performance monitoring, tuning, and configuration.
5. Collaboration experience as a subject matter expert on Cloud, Release Management, Datacenter Technologies, Automation, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), IaC, SysOps, and DevOps.
6. Implementation of monitoring for cloud and custom applications.
7. An understanding of application architecture at scale
8. Experience working closely with Architects, Developers, Security, and Clients to implement Cloud architecture spanning Serverless, Container, Server, component-based, and Hybrid models using industry best practices.
