RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client seeking a partially remote POS Analyst to join their team in Atlanta, GA. The main function of a POS Analyst is to be responsible for managing and supporting the technical aspects of POS systems within an organization. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of POS systems, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new features or updates.
Responsibilities:
* Lab support working with the stores and POS systems
* Building labs if needed, maintain lab presence, serve as level 3 support for help desk with advanced troubleshooting
* System Management: Oversee the daily operations of POS systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently
* Technical Support: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing any issues or concerns related to the POS systems
* Configuration and Updates: Configure and update POS systems as needed, including software updates and hardware maintenance
* Collaboration: Work closely with other IT team members, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the POS systems meet the organization's needs
* Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, updates, and any issues that arise
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
* 3+ years of experience
* POS experience, does not matter which software - Par Brink, Oracle, Infor preferred
* Working knowledge of Powershell scripting
* Experience with computer imaging
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite
* Able to lift up to 75 pounds
* Strong communication skills
* Problem-solving/trouble shooting
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
