Job Title: Jira Developer
Location: On-site Charlotte, NC | Denver, CO | Chicago, IL
Employment Type: W2 Only (No Sponsorship Available)

Job Description:

This role requires working on-site 5 days a week at one of our locations in Charlotte, Denver, or Chicago. We are looking for someone with deep expertise in Jira development, particularly with Jira Service Management (JSM), Groovy scripting, and ScriptRunner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement customized solutions within the Jira platform

  • Configure and maintain Jira Service Management (JSM) for various business teams

  • Develop scripts using Groovy and ScriptRunner for advanced automation and workflow customization

  • Perform custom configurations, integrations, and plugin management

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Jira functionality and performance

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver scalable Jira solutions

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Jira Developer with hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise environments

  • Strong expertise in Jira JSM (Jira Service Management)

  • Proficient in Groovy scripting and use of ScriptRunner

  • Experience with custom configuration, automation, and workflow design within Jira

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
