Sr. Electrical Estimator
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed electrical estimates for various projects, including commercial, industrial, and water treatment facilities. Your expertise will help ensure our proposals are competitive and meet client specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates for commercial, industrial, and water treatment projects.
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand project requirements and scope.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Utilize software such as Accubid for estimating and proposal generation.
- Prepare and submit proposals, including estimates, change orders, and responses to RFPs.
- Analyze bid documents and project specifications to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Assist in negotiating contracts and change orders with clients and suppliers.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrical estimator or related role.
- Journeyman electrician license is preferred.
- Proficient in Accubid or similar estimating software.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction processes.
- Experience with commercial, industrial, and water treatment projects.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
