Experience: 15+

Location: Plano, TX (Onsite)

About the Role:

This role seeks an experienced Generative AI (GenAI) Architect to lead the design, development, and implementation of GenAI solutions. The focus is on leveraging the Model Context Protocol (MCP) portal for seamless integration and orchestration. The ideal candidate is a thought leader in the GenAI space. They should possess architectural expertise and be passionate about pushing the boundaries of AI integration within enterprise environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and resilient GenAI architectures, incorporating MCP for unified integration of models, tools, and external data sources.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on MCP, guiding teams in building and optimizing MCP servers for various tools and data sources.
  • Lead the integration of GenAI models and MCP servers with existing enterprise systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
  • Drive the adoption of advanced GenAI techniques, including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and multi-agent systems, leveraging MCP for contextual understanding and interaction.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, business stakeholders) to define requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and drive successful project delivery.
  • Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
  • Research and evaluate emerging GenAI technologies and trends, making informed recommendations for future platform enhancements.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in model governance, data security, and ethical AI development.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and operational playbooks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in AI/ML development and architecture, with a strong focus on GenAI solutions.
  • In-depth understanding of generative AI models (e.g., LLMs like GPT, BERT), deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch), and related techniques.
  • Proven experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol), including building and configuring MCP servers and integrating them with AI applications.
  • Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI) and multi-agent systems is highly desirable.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in designing and implementing RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipelines is a plus.
  • Familiarity with DevOps/MLOps practices and tools.

Desired skills:

  • Experience with specific MCP Gateway deployments (e.g., IBM MCP Gateway), if relevant to the organization's needs.
  • Knowledge of specific domain expertise (e.g., healthcare, finance, retail) where GenAI applications are particularly impactful.
  • Publications or presentations in the field of GenAI or AI integration.
