Job Title: Salesforce Admin
Location: Oakbrook, IL
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Overview:
Our client, a leading energy provider focused on clean energy programs, is seeking a Salesforce Analyst/Admin to support and enhance their Salesforce platform following the departure of their current admin. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong administrative and configuration skills, and some experience with declarative development and light customization no need for full-scale coding expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as primary Salesforce administrator for the Clean Energy Programs team
- Manage user setup, profiles, roles, permissions, and security settings
- Create and maintain custom objects, fields, page layouts, workflows, and validation rules
- Generate reports and dashboards to support program operations and reporting
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement Salesforce enhancements
- Support data integrity efforts, imports/exports, and ongoing system maintenance
- Provide user training and support as needed
Requirements:
- 3+ years of Salesforce Admin experience (Salesforce Certified Admin preferred)
- Experience working with business users to translate needs into Salesforce solutions
- Proficient in creating Flows, validation rules, and automation tools
- Ability to perform light declarative development (Apex/Visualforce not required but a plus)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with energy, utilities, or clean tech programs is a plus
