Description

The Senior BA will Act as principal liaison for business stakeholders and as a key point-of-contact to Technology Services, internal/external agencies, and vendors on their behalf
Facilitate team understanding and elicit requirements for systems, integrations, and future state functionality
Partner with business stakeholders to identify problems/opportunities, assist in developing these into project/initiatives, and work within Technology Services to move these into the project pipeline.
Understand business processes and system capabilities for complex, integrated systems
Work with vendors to understand system intricacies and process needs to advocate for the best possible solution
Utilize Azure Dev Ops (ADO) for all project tracking purposes
Create functional process fit/gap analysis documentation which identifies and recommends resolution of any process, system, and integration related gaps
Make suggestions for any as-is or to-be processes which are lacking and/or present a risk and help mitigate them, before they become an issue
Follow TS best practices: documentation, project, and change management processes
Collaborate with business stakeholders, Technology Services teams, internal/external agencies, vendors, et. al to support the city of Denver's mission, vision, and goals.
ABOUT YOU
Minimum 5 years of current, professional level experience in Business Analysis which should include at least two years of experience performing lead-level work for multi-sized projects, including:
Managing process analysis and improvement activities which impact multiple teams/departments
Identifying, recommending, and delivering recommendations which improve enterprise-wide systems
Performing technical process evaluation for highly integrated technology software system environments
Creating process and system diagrams for current and future system and process documentation
Delivering documentation converted for training or making course materials for end users
Creating process handoff and system integration diagrams for all related systems
Excellent team collaboration, delivering results with peers, customers, and vendors
Help technical and non-technical team members understand how/why process handoffs impact requirements, systems, and integrations between systems
Documenting workflows in a clear and concise manner for utilization by internal users and organizational decision makers
Generating requirements for integration of new tools into existing technical architecture
