Type: 6-Month Contract with possible Extension
Location: Remote 100%
Pay Range : $70-75/h on W2 (DOE)

Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Privacy Manager for a 6-month remote contract role. In this position, you will be responsible for conducting privacy impact assessments, managing privacy documentation workflows, and partnering with stakeholders across product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure our features and services comply with global privacy regulations.
You ll play a critical role in supporting Privacy team in operationalizing privacy best practices and identifying potential risks across our systems and services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support privacy impact assessments (PIAs) for new features and services.
• Review privacy content submitted by internal stakeholders; work with privacy leads to refine content and prepare it for formal review cycles.
• Triage incoming privacy-related tickets from internal partners and escalate as needed in coordination with the privacy incident response team.
• Own document tracking and management across multiple review cycles.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and complete documentation.
• Identify compliance and operational risks and help ensure alignment with global privacy laws.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical teams across global locations.

• 5+ years of experience in a privacy operations role within a technology or enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of global privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and best practices.
• Proven ability to manage complex documentation and workflows across teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with product, engineering, legal, and compliance teams.
• Experience supporting privacy-related incident response processes.
• 5+ years of experience managing cross-functional programs from initiation through delivery.

• Professional privacy certification(s) such as CIPP, CIPM, or equivalent (preferred but not required).
• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
