Title: OpenShift/Cloud Engineer – Downtown Dallas (Onsite with Hybrid Option)
Location: Downtown Dallas, TX
Type: Contract (with potential for extension or hire)

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced OpenShift/Cloud Engineer to design, support, and optimize enterprise-scale Platform-as-a-Service solutions. This role involves application migrations, automation development, and ongoing enhancements in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Engineer and support Red Hat OpenShift environments (v4.15+) across VMs, Bare Metal, and ROSA.

Lead application migrations and refactoring to containerized workloads.

Implement CI/CD automation pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

Manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or IBM Cloud.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and mentorship to team members.
Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years administering Red Hat OpenShift on various infrastructures.

Strong proficiency with Linux containers, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.

Proven expertise in DevOps concepts and automation tooling.

Working knowledge of Java, JBoss, nginx, Node.js, and enterprise application architectures.

Understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, and load balancing.
Preferred:

Experience with VMware technologies, SSL certificate management, and ROSA.

Familiarity with container monitoring and logging tools (Dynatrace, QRadar).
