Description
Archivist for this client digital studio team
Establish and implement comprehensive metadata schemas, file naming conventions, taxonomies, keywords, and controlled vocabularies to enhance searchability and accessibility.
Serve as point person for in-house image needs providing appropriate files as described above for public programs, website, social media, newsletter, collections, research, etc.
Conduct regular audits to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of digital assets and associated metadata.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
1. 5-7 years experience as a Digital Asset Manager, dealing with digitized art (photos, negatives, drawings, sketches, etc). Must be able to own the DAM, and complete metadata tagging for all assets. (thousands of assets).
2. Deep understanding of artwork taxonomies. Coming from a large museum or publication would be beneficial, and/or a Masters in Library Sciences.
3. Experience with photography. Either being a photographer themselves, or having worked with technical side of photography, color correction, etc. All editing done in the Adobe Suite.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
