Job Details
Title: IT Software Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix, AZ (on-site for now, but possibly hybrid in the future)
This is a six-month contract position, with the possibility of extension, supporting IT software operations. The role focuses on software license coordination, project tracking, and providing support for internal teams by ensuring compliance and lifecycle management of software assets. Candidates must have 1 2 years of experience in project coordination, general knowledge of software licensing and asset management tools and practices, and experience using ServiceNow and Google Suite.
Your role:
- Oversee software acquisition and renewals, including vendor coordination, license compliance, and tracking budgets.
- Maintain software entitlement records, inventory data, and usage metrics for organizational compliance.
- Support change management activities involving software, working with vendors and technical teams to ensure standards are followed.
- Coordinate asset requests, fulfillment, and updates for approved software across departments.
- Respond to user requests and troubleshoot software access or licensing issues via phone, email, or chat.
- Research user questions using internal resources and recommend solutions or next steps.
- Follow established IT processes, governance models, and documentation standards.
- Track and document tickets, issues, and resolutions using internal tools.
- Provide timely follow-up to ensure user issues are fully resolved.
- Assist in compiling and distributing software-related reports and updates.
- Escalate urgent or unresolved issues appropriately.
What you ve got:
- 1 2 years of experience in project coordination or software asset administration.
- General knowledge of software licensing, IT asset lifecycle, and compliance management.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
- Basic understanding of IT ticketing systems, asset databases, and support desk functions.
- Ability to interpret and work with software license counts, costs, and renewals.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and task management.
- Capable of working independently while managing multiple responsibilities.
- Comfortable collaborating across technical and non-technical teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Experience researching technical issues and following through with resolution steps.
