Software Engineer ITAM & GoLang

Role: Software Engineer ITAM & GoLang
Location: Remote in Canada

Note: Must have really good experience in GoLang.

Job Description-

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and building new tools, or key new features of existing tools, to meet evolving ITAM requirements. These tools will focus on enforcing correct ownership attribution and understanding dependencies between assets.
• Implementing key security features, such as role-based access control and automated blast radius analysis, that will help our incident response team.
• Collaborating with a variety of stakeholders, including Security Engineering, Security Operations, and Compliance teams, on cross-functional requirements and joint projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in backend software engineering, working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
• Proficiency in Golang, with a strong understanding of scalable and efficient backend architectures.
• Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate ambiguous stakeholder needs into clear technical requirements.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive and analytical mindset.

Nice to have:

• Frontend engineering experience with Next.js or React, including building scalable and performant user interfaces.
