Title: iOS Engineering Manager Location: San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Dallas, TX Full-time About the Role: We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineering Manager to lead our iOS development team. You will drive the technical vision, roadmap, and delivery of our iOS applications. You will lead an accomplished group of engineers and work with product managers, designers, and other team members to create seamless user experiences.

Reports to: Senior Engineering Manager, iOS
As the iOS Engineering Manager, you will mentor and grow the team while ensuring that we deliver high-quality, performant, and scalable applications that meet our users' needs and our goals. You will have ownership over the development process, team performance, and be an important contributor to strategic decisions.
- Run the daily operations of the engineering team and help manage scrum ceremonies such as grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers to ensure the adoption of best practices, architectural standards, and scalability promoting a collaborative work environment.
- Work with product and leadership to define and execute the development roadmap for aligning with our goals and customer needs.
- Work with team members to understand requirements, gather feedback, and communicate project progress and status updates.
- Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting to ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Monitor team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to improve efficiency.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings with team members to provide feedback, support their career development, and regular team performance management.
- Lead operational excellence by managing system outages, conducting root-cause analyses, and driving operational performance improvement.
- Participate in hiring and onboarding processes to attract top talent and build a skilled engineering team.
In the role of iOS Engineering Manager, you will report to the Senior Engineering Manager - iOS. We are considering applicants for the location of San Francisco, CA, Los Angeles, CA, or Dallas, TX.
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a minimum 9 years of experience building native applications, with
- You have at least 2 years of direct people management experience.
- You have knowledge of architecture and design patterns for building reliable, secure applications.
- You are proficient in programming languages such as swift, and experience with modern frameworks and technologies.
- You have experience approaching a problem from different angles, analyzing pros and cons of different solutions with attention to foresee long-term product goals and define a roadmap.
