Cybersecurity Analyst

About the Role

Our client has state-of-the-art global manufacturing facilities, and they have a rewarding opportunity for a Cybersecurity Analyst!

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of securing their various information systems. The CSA is tasked with providing technical expertise in all areas of network, system, and application security.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and respond to alerts and incidents in real-time.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Investigate and document security breaches and other cybersecurity incidents.
• Analyze threat intelligence and apply findings to improve defenses.
• Assist in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams to ensure secure system configurations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technology solutions.
• Support compliance efforts (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a cybersecurity or IT security role.
• Familiarity with Splunk Cloud, Crowdstrike,Rapid7 Nexpose
• Understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

**Preferred:**

• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, or GSEC.
• Experience managing both on-premise and hosted systems and applications
