Job Overview:



We are seeking an experienced SAP Platform Architect to lead the design and implementation of robust backend solutions, including S4/HANA, SAP BASIS, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role involves working closely with managed service providers (MSPs), development teams, and security stakeholders to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable SAP environments.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend architecture involving S4/HANA, SAP BASIS, and BTP.
  • Lead and manage work across MSP resources to ensure SLAs and project timelines are met.
  • Monitor and address impacts of new SAP releases and patch updates.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure architectural alignment and system integration.
  • Enforce and maintain strong security practices in SAP environments.
  • Deploy and configure SAP Cloud ALM for operations and monitoring.
  • Create and maintain system diagrams using Lucidchart or Visio.
  • Explore and integrate AI capabilities within SAP BTP to enhance automation and analytics.

Required Skills:

  • Proven expertise in SAP back-end solutions (S4/HANA, SAP BASIS, BTP).
  • Experience managing MSPs and driving accountability.
  • Familiarity with SAP release cycles and upgrade processes.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Proficiency in security protocols and best practices in SAP environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud ALM.
  • Ability to visualize architecture using Lucidchart or Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience or strong interest in implementing AI within SAP BTP.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • SAP Certifications in relevant technologies.
  • Previous experience in enterprise-scale SAP transformations or cloud migrations.
  • Familiarity with DevOps or CI/CD practices in an SAP context.
