RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a remote Mid-Level Java Developer to join their team.
Overview:
This individual will be joining a team developing an internal facing application to assist in ease of use for associates in the business. This team is backend heavy with strong, resilient and high availability microservices. Currently, they are utilizing Java17, Spring Boot, Micronaut, Cassandra database with it hosted in Google Cloud Platform. This person will be tasked with re-building new services from scratch and migrating it off of PCF. The team is heavy on PCF and plan to migrate fully to Google Cloud Platform, which requires an individual strong in backend java who has Google Cloud Platform knowledge and can join the team to fully hit the ground running.
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of professional experience
* 2+ years of building Java based Microservices with Spring Boot
* Automated testing experience (TDD/Unit testing)
* NoSQL
* Ability to communicate technical concepts and ideas effectively
* Go getter attitude
* Google Cloud Platform experience (preferred)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
