Job Details
Position: Cloud DBA
Onsite Work Location(s): either Scottsdale, Arizona OR Richardson, Texas
Hybrid Onsite: 2 days onsite, every week
Contract Duration: 12-month contract with potential for extension
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of Cloud Database Administration work
- Must have hands-on experience working with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform).
- Must have hands-on experience working with MySQL and PostgreSQL
- Working experience with Cassandra DB and or MongoDB.
- Production support environment experience - 24x7, 365 days, on call support
- Experience working with Spanner database is highly preferred.
- Experience with database administration including Performance tuning.
- Design and implementation of Disaster Recovery to meet defined business objectives.
- Implementation and support of high availability features including Clustering and Replication
- Experience tuning complex database systems for production systems at the application, database, and system levels.
- This role involves database design, operational management, performance tuning, and system-level support for high-availability, mission-critical applications.
