AML Systems & Investigations Specialist
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform investigative research using intelligence tools and data sources to analyze transaction counterparties and document findings in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of suspicious activity alerts to:
- Ensure red flags are properly identified
- Ensure negative news is disposed properly
- Ensure supporting documents are sufficiently maintained
- Develop evidence-based recommendations, escalate cases requiring enhanced due diligence or further review, and contribute analytical insights to strengthen the AML monitoring framework.
- Support additional AML-related analytical tasks, compliance initiatives, and data-driven projects as required.
- Perform other ad-hoc assignments related to AML.
Job Requirements:- Minimum of 2 years of experience in AML investigations, transaction monitoring, financial crime analytics, or a related compliance function.
- CAMS certification (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in a business, finance, or data-related field.
- Fluency in English and Chinese with strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
