Baer is looking for SAP S4 New Boards Product Introduction Analyst for a 18+ month project located in Santa Clara, CA.
Title: SAP S4 New Boards Product Introduction Analyst
Location: Remote and travel to Santa Clara
Duration: 18 months
Rate: Hourly Plus Expenses Reimbursed
Alignment: W2 or C2C
Responsibilities:
- Lead the new product introduction process within SAP S/4HANA.
- Coordinate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless integration of new products into manufacturing operations.
- Configure and customize SAP S/4HANA to support NPI requirements.
- Ensure that all relevant data, processes, and workflows are accurately reflected in the system.
- Manage the creation and maintenance of master data related to new products, including Bills of Materials (BOM), routings, and production versions.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including R&D, engineering, production, quality, and procurement to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure alignment on NPI activities.
- Identify and implement improvements to the NPI process to enhance efficiency, reduce time-to-market, and improve product quality.
- Utilize SAP S/4HANA capabilities to automate and streamline processes.
- Ensure all NPI activities comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of NPI processes and system configurations.
Required Experience:
- Extensive experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly in the context of new product introduction and manufacturing.
- Deep understanding of the electronics manufacturing industry and its specific requirements.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading NPI projects.
- Excellent data management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to electronics manufacturing and NPI processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Experience in a high-tech or electronics manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
