Project Manager (PMP Certified)

SYSCOM s seeking a Project Manager (PMP Certified) to work in our client s finance division on various projects, mainly the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Lead high-impact IT projects that shape the future of finance operations, while working in a collaborative, hybrid environment.

Work Location: The work is expected to be performed in a hybrid setting - partially remote and partially in-person with at least three (3) days each week in the office. The on-site work location is Saint Paul, MN 55101.

Job duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide leadership and guidance for projects
• Provide strategic vision and thinking with focus on outcomes
• Create clear and attainable project objectives
• Create clear and attainable project requirements
• Manage project constraints of cost, time and scope
• Form close links with team members and stakeholders
• Direct & manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with project sponsors and stakeholders
• Estimate project resource requirements and participants needed to achieve goals including changes during where necessary
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Establish project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools and tracking such milestones and deliverables
• Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises or issues, and devise contingency plans as appropriate
• Communicate project plans, expectations, updates, progress, issues, and successes in a timely & clear fashion when necessary
• Manage multiple smaller projects
• Provide knowledge transfer

Minimum Qualifications must meet ALL

• Five (5) years of experience in an IT Project Management role
• Two (2) engagements lasting more than six months in an IT Project Manager role
• Demonstrable leadership ability
• PMP certification must be current PMP, unexpired and verifiable
