About the Opportunity

The Salesforce Technical Architect will be key to the planning and construction of client strategies, Salesforce and related platform delivery excellence, resource mentoring, presales solutioning and estimating, as well as establishing key Salesforce go-to-market offerings.

The Technical Architect will be responsible for creating & delivering, in a timely and accurate fashion, Salesforce and related platform solutions, as well as MuleSoft integrations. The candidate will be responsible for the solution design, development, and support of Salesforce related engagements. In addition, the Technical Architect will be a trusted advisor to our team and clients with a deep understanding of the Salesforce platforms, MuleSoft solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to create prototypes and proofs of concept as a means of eliciting and defining requirements
  • Review solutions and recommending improvements
  • Share knowledge and recomendations across the range of the salesforce ecosystem(Core, Marketing Cloud, MuleSoft, Commerce, Data Cloud. etc)
  • Groom and refine the Salesforce product backlog, in liaison with stakeholders on the project
  • Own the design of Salesforce platforms and MuleSoft per client needs
  • Act as a release manager, approving configuration and coded items to be deployed between environments. Where appropriate, this could include deploying changes
  • Provide guidance on user story writing style
  • Ensure success and acceptance criteria are defined for each story
  • Ensure documentation of the steps for testing
  • Groom and refine clients' Salesforce product backlogs, in liaison with client SMEs
  • Supervise the configuration, quality assurance, testing, and deployment of Salesforce
  • Collaborative project and workstream planning
  • At least 5 years' experience in a leading role in delivering Salesforce projects
  • Excellent communication skills, written, verbal, and interactive when online


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing and developing software components and having a very strong Service Oriented Architecture and integration background
  • Experience in Salesforce end to end implementation engagements
  • com integration experience, specifically in MuleSoft, as well as other integration tools
  • Proficiency in programming using SFDX and at least one other CICD tool
  • Strong experience with configuration, customization, programming with APEX APIs, APEX Triggers
  • Strong practical deployment knowledge of Salesforce configurations, Apex classes, APEX Web services, API, AppExchange deployment, Lightning Web Components, Aura Components and related JavaScripts frameworks
  • Ability to define the system landscape, to identify gaps between current and desired end-states, and deliver a CRM solution

Education and Required Skills/Certifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field
  • 10 years in IT and 5+ years in Salesforce
  • Minimum 3 years experience in technical presales

    • Administrator
    • Sales Cloud Consultant
    • Service Cloud Consultant
    • Platform Developer 1
    • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
    • MuleSoft
  • Additional Certifications (Preferred) :
    • Architect Certifications

  • Experience mentoring, growing, and scaling teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both autonomously as well as on a team
  • Evidence of technical community engagement (blogs, papers, public speaking, social media)
