Detailed Job Description: OCFS-IT is in need of a highly experienced web application
programmer with experience leading development efforts for a multitiered, complex web application for the Family Type Home for Adults
System. The Division of Child Welfare and Community Services /
Bureau of Adult Services is requesting enhancements to the Family
Type Home for Adults (FTHA) online system. This system automates
the data collection that will be used in monitoring all of the Family Type
Home for Adults licensed by New York State OCFS. Enhancements are
needed to further comply with State and Federal mandates related to
licensed homes.
This position is for a .Net Programmer to maintain and enhance the
complete FTHA online system. This is the one and only staff to support
this application and its users. Regulations with regard to tracking and
reporting requirements will drive this effort to continue developing the
FTHA system. Due to necessary compliance of these regulations it is
imperative that we procure the appropriate development source to
maintain and enhance this system.
