We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Tech Services industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the implementation of cybersecurity measures, conducting vulnerability assessments, integrating security into the software development lifecycle, and ensuring the highest level of systems security against potential threats. This is a permanent, full-time position and requires a candidate with a strong background in AWS, C#, Python, SOC 2 audit, and ISO 27001 standards.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and maintain the company's cybersecurity plan, policies, and procedures to protect the organization's computer networks and systems.
2. Conduct regular system tests and ensure continuous monitoring of network security.
3. Develop strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate measures to protect sensitive data and systems from infiltration and cyber-attacks.
4. Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing using various tools and techniques.
5. Keep abreast with the latest cybersecurity trends, technologies, and threats; develop strategies to counter potential threats.
6. Provide technical guidance on IT projects, including the evaluation and recommendation of technical controls.
7. Develop and implement SOC2 and ISO27001 compliant procedures.
8. Work with different departments to ensure the security of the organization's data and technology infrastructure.
9. Facilitate threat modeling and establish effective DAST measures.
10. Develop and conduct cybersecurity training programs for employees.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field. A Master's degree will be an added advantage.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with a strong focus on cybersecurity.
3. Proficiency in C# and Python and a solid understanding of SOC2, ISO27001, OWASP, threat modeling, and DAST.
4. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar certification is preferred.
5. Extensive experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity measures.
6. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity trends, technologies, and potential threats.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
8. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
