Job Summary
As a Software Support Analyst, you will provide remote support to customers managing environmental data and regulatory reporting systems. The position involves working within a call center environment, analyzing data for completeness and accuracy, troubleshooting Windows-based systems, and supporting proprietary software used in emissions monitoring.
This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, technically capable, and customer-focused-someone who thrives in a structured, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Respond to client support inquiries via phone and remote access
Analyze environmental data for accuracy and compliance
Troubleshoot and support single-server Windows systems, including SQL Server, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and proprietary software
Maintain accurate call logs and documentation in the call center system
Follow internal quality management and case-handling procedures
Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed
Assist in designing and verifying air emissions calculations
Prepare documentation using spreadsheets, flow diagrams, and procedural tools
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
Strong customer service skills, including from other industries
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy
Proficiency with SQL, Windows administration, Excel, and basic scripting or structured programming
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with remote personnel
Must hold a current, valid driver's license
Physical and Work Environment Requirements
Occasional standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, or lifting up to 50 lbs
Frequent sitting and computer work
Moderate noise level
