Contract through end of year | $40-50/hr
Our client, a leading building materials manufacturer headquartered in downtown Chicago, is seeking a detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the ongoing Payroll NextGen Project. This high-visibility initiative involves replacing Oracle Payroll and Kronos Workforce Management with ADP Workforce and ADP Workforce Time & Attendance. The project is already underway, and we're looking for someone who can step in to help ensure effective coordination and execution.
Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in tracking project milestones, timelines, and deliverables to ensure the project stays on track.
- Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and meeting notes, and follow up on action items with stakeholders.
- Help manage project documentation, including status reports, risk logs, and project plans.
- Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams, including business and technical stakeholders.
- Contribute to issue tracking, resolution documentation, and change management activities.
Requirements:
- 2-4 years of experience in a project coordination or similar support role within software or payroll system implementations.
- Exposure to enterprise systems like ADP, Oracle Payroll, or Kronos is preferred.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall).
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks with minimal oversight.
- Experience working in hybrid or matrixed team environments.
This is a contract role expected to run through the end of the year. Candidates must be comfortable working in a hybrid model (onsite in downtown Chicago part of the week). If you are highly organized, collaborative, and ready to contribute to a major enterprise initiative, apply today!
