Description

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our team in Irvington, New Jersey. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the stability, functionality, and efficiency of hardware, software, and network systems for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to resolving technical challenges and improving processes.

Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair hardware issues related to PCs, laptops, and printers.
Troubleshoot and resolve software and network-related problems efficiently.
Administer and maintain Microsoft Windows Server environments and network equipment.
Provide technical consultation to customers, offering solutions tailored to their needs.
Collaborate with internal teams to design projects aimed at enhancing customer systems and workflows.
Document issues and resolutions in ticketing systems to ensure clear communication and record-keeping.
Generate reports and provide status updates on customer IT infrastructure.
Install, test, troubleshoot, and repair hardware and software systems, including desktops, laptops, and network devices.
Monitor incident trends, identify recurring problems, and implement long-term solutions.
Recommend new products and services to optimize customers' environments and ensure high performance.

Requirements

Proficiency in Azure Active Directory and Azure cloud services.
Strong knowledge of Office 365 and Windows operating systems.
Experience in managing and maintaining network equipment and servers.
Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
Familiarity with troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in hardware and software.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
Certification in relevant technical areas as required by the company.
Ability to travel locally for customer support and project implementation.
