Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Executive (Hunter) to drive new business growth. This role is focused exclusively on winning net-new accounts by prospecting, building relationships, and closing opportunities with enterprise and mid-market organizations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, consultative sales environment and is motivated by the challenge and reward of opening new doors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new leads through networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and industry events.
  • Identify and qualify opportunities across target accounts and industries.
  • Own the entire sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, solution positioning, proposal development, and closing.
  • Develop strong, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers in new accounts.
  • Partner with Improving s technical and delivery teams to craft tailored solutions that align with client goals.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed new business acquisition targets.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting within CRM.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in new business (hunter) sales, ideally in IT consulting, custom software development, digital services, or AI solutions.
  • Proven ability to open new accounts and deliver against ambitious sales goals.
  • Excellent prospecting, networking, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong consultative selling approach with the ability to translate technical capabilities into business value.
  • High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, and self-motivation to operate independently.
  • Bachelor s degree in Business, Technology, or related field preferred.
