Senior Product Designer (UX) Financial Services / Fintech
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid)
Job Description
We re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead design initiatives that drive product adoption, elevate user experiences, and support regulatory and business objectives. This role will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Compliance to define and deliver impactful design solutions.
What You ll Do
- Own end-to-end product design process for key features: from user research and strategy to prototyping, testing, and hand-off
- Design seamless, accessible experiences for high-impact financial tools: onboarding, dashboards, user permissions (RBAC), account management, and analytics
- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering to define product requirements, maintain design consistency, and ship high-quality features
- Build and evolve scalable design systems used across multiple platforms and teams
- Champion user-centered design decisions informed by qualitative and quantitative research
- Identify UX opportunities by analyzing usage data, support tickets, and user feedback
- Ensure all designs meet WCAG accessibility and relevant industry compliance standards
- Present design decisions to stakeholders and executive leadership with clarity and confidence
Key Skills & Tools
- UX/UI Design (concept to pixel-perfect)
- Design Systems (creation, maintenance, documentation)
- Tools: Figma, Miro, Adobe CC, Jitter, Principle, etc.
- Prototyping & Testing: Low/high fidelity mockups, user flows, A/B testing, feedback loops
- Cross-functional collaboration: Product, Engineering, QA, Compliance
- Design for complex systems: dashboards, cloud interfaces, SaaS tools, AI-powered tools
- Familiarity with agile workflows and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Productboard
What You Bring
- 8+ years of experience in UX/Product Design roles, ideally in SaaS, AI, or Fintech
- Strong portfolio showing design thinking, complex problem solving, and measurable impact
- Experience designing secure and scalable platforms with user roles, RBAC, or BYOC
- Background working on onboarding flows, analytics dashboards, or cloud-based tools
- Ability to balance user needs, technical constraints, and business goals
- Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and compliance-aware design practices
- Excellent written, visual, and verbal communication skills
