Work Location: Columbia SC, Candidates can relocate, however, they need to be prepared to work onsite during training and the vetting period. After that, they can work remote up to 2 days a week.

REQUIRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:

A bachelor s degree in information technology systems, computer science, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in information technology systems or related area. ; or an associate s degree and ten (10) years of experience in information technology systems or related area; or a high school diploma and twelve (12) years of experience in information technology systems or related area.

Preferred Skills:
PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):

Experience in projects involving PCI/ NIST/Pub1075 security implementations and / or audits.
Experience of working with development tools
Working in team development environment
Security procedures

Daily Responsibilities:

Ability to perform unattended troubleshooting, document said troubleshooting, and hand off for other techs.

Technical
The contractor will:
Troubleshoot and recommend technical solutions for customer issues related to software setup and configuration pertaining to SCDOR cloud applications and other custom SharePoint on-premises and cloud solutions
Have expertise and experience with working with Power Apps platform to deliver business change
Design, develop, and implement GenAI-driven solutions using Copilot and Copilot Studio
Experience of working in both Agile and Waterfall development models and able to recommend difference approaches based on the specific project outcomes
Provide technical support for SharePoint and PowerApps users, including troubleshooting issues and providing solutions
Work with users to gather requirements, design solutions, and deploy new PowerApps applications or SharePoint Online features
Collaborate with IT teams and other departments to ensure proper integration of SharePoint and PowerApps with other tools and systems
Provide simple training / how-to documentation for business users and be able to coach lead users through new ways of working
Experience developing new PowerApps model and canvas driven apps as well as enhancing existing apps
Have expertise and experience with HTML 5, .Net Framework, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, CSS 3, SharePoint Server 2019, JavaScript, and RESTful application design
Be required to provide technical documentation to include, but not limited to, governance and instructional documentation
Develop workaround solutions as appropriate
Monitor and assess current systems and recommend enhancements, as needed, based on data gathered
Act as technical resource for other IT analysts and business units by resolving complex cloud systems problems pertaining to web application design, deployment, and/or support
Diagnose and resolve problems related to applications and systems for which the Cloud Services team is responsible
Escalate complex problems to other internal IT groups, or vendors for resolution
Install, configure, test, monitor, and maintain systems and application software and peripherals for users; install and configure servers required for designed solutions
Adhere to corporate information security guidelines and promote information security among coworkers
Qualified candidate will be responsible for performing root cause analysis and resolution
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
