Description:
Title: Technician - Integration Engineering II - C Shift

Contract: 3+ Months

Location:** Kent, WA 98032

Shift:** C Shift (Friday-Sunday, 5:00 AM-6:00 PM)

Pay Range:** $44/hr. on W2

Prescreen Questions:

- Do you have experience drilling precision holes? If so, what kind of materials?

- Countersinking/installing tolerance fasteners?

- Do you have hydraulic assembly experience or any other precision assembly experience?

- Working from a drawing?

- Do you have cleanroom experience?

About the Role

As part of a diverse and hardworking team of technicians, you will build launch vehicles, spacecraft, and launch facility systems. You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling, and supporting hardware testing that meets program requirements. This position will directly impact the history of space exploration and requires a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated components.

- Perform precision drilling and installation of fasteners.

- Collaborate with engineers to review design concepts and support development tests.

- Review and follow work instructions for assembly tasks.

- Plan and communicate assembly steps for complex mechanical installations.

- Safely handle hazardous systems containing chemicals and/or high pressure.

- Maintain accurate documentation and procedural compliance.

- Use standard mechanical tools and fabrication equipment.

- Support system testing and quality checks.

- Participate in continuous improvement activities.

Minimum Qualifications

- 3-5+ years of experience in precision assembly.

- Experience with close tolerance drilling and fastener installation.

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and prints.

- Proficiency with standard tools and fabrication equipment.

- Experience in aerospace, military hardware, or related fields.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in launch vehicle or propulsion system assembly and integration.

- 5+ years of experience in aerospace or related fields.

- A&P license or equivalent experience.

- Familiarity with pneumatic and hydraulic system safety.

- Experience operating cranes and forklifts around flight hardware.

- Proficiency with 3D measurement tools and software (e.g., Spatial Analyzer, Verisurf).

- Knowledge of rocket propellants including hydrogen peroxide, RP, and cryogenics.

- Experience with 3D CAD tools (CREO preferred) and GD&T standards.

Physical Requirements

- Ability to climb ladders and stairs.

- Work in small, restricted areas.

- Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
