Job Title - PeopleSoft Campus Solutions Functional Resource
Location - Remote
Contract to hire
- Needs deep expertise in all major CS modules (Registrar, Admissions, Student Financials, Fin Aid).
- Must understand delivered functionality in PT 8.61 / PUM 36 and help reduce customizations.
- Key function is to lead conversations with functional SMEs and perform fit-gap analysis.
- Will guide Fluid UI adoption, accessibility updates, and module redesign efforts.
- Supports integrations with Oracle HCM Cloud and works closely with the technical team.
- SUNY requires some onsite presence; contract-to-hire is preferred.
Key Priorities Identified
- Complete Phase 2 of the Fluid implementation.
- Retire classic pages and eliminate surviving customizations.
- Address accessibility compliance by April 2026.
- Support new Nelnet payment integration (TouchNet replacement).
- Maintain and enhance existing APIs connecting CS to Oracle Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Lead functional analysis and discovery sessions with Registrar, Admissions, Student Financials, Financial Aid, and other CS stakeholders.Perform fit-gap analysis comparing delivered PeopleSoft functionality with existing customizations.
Drive Fluid UI conversion and the adoption of delivered functionality across Campus Solutions.
Understand and explain delivered features in PT 8.61 and PUM 36; recommend best-practice configuration options.
Guide SMEs through redesign sessions, process changes, and decision-making.
Collaborate with technical teams during retrofit work, Fluid rebuilds, and accessibility updates.
Support compliance requirements specifically accessibility updates due April 2026.
Assist with integrations between Campus Solutions and Oracle HCM Cloud (HR & Finance).
Provide functional leadership across a heavily customized environment and help transition to more standardized delivered features.
Required Experience & SkillsExpert-level functional knowledge of all major Campus Solutions modules (Registrar, Admissions, Student Financials, Financial Aid, etc.).
Demonstrated experience with Fluid adoption, Fluid conversion, and delivered functionality.
Strong understanding of PeopleSoft PT 8.61 and PUM 36.
Ability to lead requirements sessions and communicate effectively with SMEs and leadership.
Experience in highly customized environments and navigating delivered vs. custom decision paths.
Prior experience supporting Campus Solutions upgrades, accessibility remediation, and cloud integrations (preferred).
