Role: ServiceNow Enterprise Architect
Modules Focused: Employee Module (EM), Employee Center, IT Operations Management (ITOM)
The ServiceNow Enterprise Architect will be responsible for leading the design, strategy, and governance of the ServiceNow platform with a focus on the Employee Experience and IT Operations domains. This role ensures alignment between business goals and the platform architecture, ensuring scalable, secure, and value-driven implementations.
Define and maintain the enterprise-level ServiceNow architecture roadmap.
Align ServiceNow solutions with enterprise IT strategies and business objectives.
Lead platform architecture decisions, ensuring modular, scalable, and reusable designs.
Architect and oversee the implementation of the Employee Center, including personalized portals, content delivery, and unified employee experiences.
Provide architectural guidance for Employee Module workflows such as onboarding, transitions, and lifecycle events.
Enable seamless integrations between HRSD, ITSM, and other business processes within the Employee Center.
Design and lead the architecture for ITOM components
Drive automation of IT operations, proactive monitoring, and service health analytics.
Define and enforce platform governance and design standards.
Conduct architecture reviews and provide oversight to ensure compliance with security, scalability, and performance requirements.
Collaborate with enterprise architects, security teams, and compliance officers.
Work closely with product owners, developers, and process owners to translate business needs into effective ServiceNow solutions.
Provide mentorship and guidance to solution architects, developers, and admin teams.
Act as a thought leader in ServiceNow capabilities, innovation, and best practices.
Design integrations between ServiceNow and external systems (e.g., Workday, Azure AD, monitoring tools).
Evaluate emerging features and provide guidance on adoption (e.g., Next Experience UI, AI Search, Virtual Agent).
Champion the use of automation, machine learning, and self-service within the platform.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of ServiceNow experience, including at least 4+ years as an Enterprise Architect or Lead Solution Architect.
- Proven experience with Employee Center (Pro/Advanced), HRSD, and EM lifecycle workflows.
- Hands-on expertise in ITOM Suite: Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management.
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, governance, and data quality management.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, APIs, and orchestration.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform upgrades, performance optimization, and security models.
Certifications (Preferred)
- Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
- Certified Implementation Specialist HR
- Certified Implementation Specialist ITOM
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or equivalent experience
