Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and secure networking solutions. This role requires the ability to analyze business requirements and deliver cutting-edge networking solutions while working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain TCP/IP LAN/WAN solutions, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and SD-WAN.
  • Configure and manage Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, and Meraki devices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime for a hybrid environment.
  • Plan, deploy, and maintain both wired and wireless networking solutions to support enterprise needs.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of infrastructure management tools, network access controls, and security protocols.
  • Integrate and manage advanced networking solutions with Active Directory, VMware, and UNIX/Linux systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure that networking services align with organizational goals.
  • Document system configurations, standards, and procedures for network deployments and maintenance activities.
  • Apply effective problem-solving skills to handle escalated networking issues while adhering to deadlines.


Requirements

Minimum Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree inMIS, Computer Science,Engineering, or a related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum of3 years of experienceinNetworking, focusing onTCP/IP LAN/WAN (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, SD-WAN)environments.
  • Currently reside in the Dallas / Fort Worth, TX metroplex and able to be onsite daily in North Dallas, TX (REMOTE ONLY AND NON-LOCAL CANDIDATES WILL NOT BE QUALIFY)
  • Prior experience managingwirelessnetworks is highly desirable.

Technical Expertise and Certifications:
  • In-depth knowledge ofPalo Alto Firewalls, Cisco Routers, Switches, Load Balancers, and Meraki.
  • Working knowledge ofActive Directory, VMware, networking,andUNIX/Linux systems.
  • Cisco CCNA/CCNPcertification inRouting and Switchingis strongly preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Exceptional time management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines.
