Education and Experience
- Experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management: 5 Years.
- Experience in developing and managing the end-to-end solicitation process including IFBs, RFPs, RFQs: 5 Years.
- Experience in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing solicitations and Statements of Work: 5 Years.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint: 5 Years.
- Excellent writing, communication, and analytical skills: 5 Years.
- Experience in procurement processes and contractual terminology: 5 Years.
Highly desired:
- Understanding of Virginia state procurement policies: 5 Years.
- Knowledge and understanding of the APSPM: 3 Years.
- Knowledge and understanding of the VPPA: 3 Years.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
- Seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sourcing Consultant to lead and support sourcing initiatives by gathering requirements, developing comprehensive solicitations (e.g. IFBs, RFPs, RFQs), and drafting Statements of Work.
- The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, finance, and vendors to ensure alignment of sourcing strategies with organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Candidate will develop solicitations that clearly define the background and objectives of the procurement, provide a clear scope of work, and utilizes appropriate terms and conditions.
- Requirements gathering.
- Develop and manage end-to-end solicitation processes including IFBs, RFPs, RFQs.
- Draft, review, and finalize solicitations and Statements of Work.
- Strategic thinking and problem solving.
