Position Summary: (Brief overview)
This position will perform various technical support activities including, but not limited to, helpdesk support,
troubleshooting issues, resolving problems for end-users, monitoring/managing/optimizing servers and
applications, implementing solutions throughout application lifecycle, and documenting solutions. This
position will be highly autonomous and expected to act with minimal direct supervision.
Minimum Qualifications:
Strong understanding of Windows systems
MEDITECH EHR experience preferred with a specialty in MIS application
Ability to work both individually and in a team
Experience with ticketing systems for documenting issues and resolution
Strong customer service communication skills
Excellent logic and reasoning skills
Detailed computer and IT skills
High aptitude for interpreting technical documentation
Job Specifications (experience, education, certifications, training required):
Bachelor s degree or higher or equivalent experience
Experience in a technology setting
IT related Certifications a plus
Experience with MEDITECH EHR infrastructure and operation a plus
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a focus on customer satisfaction
Manage and escalate issues as needed to assure resolution and minimize impact to projects
Experience interpreting customer needs for solutions
Authoring or updating documents
Possess a strong attention to detail
Able to effectively discuss complex solutions to technical and non-technical people
