Job Details
Piper Companies is seeking a Level II Medical Technologist for a well-known CRO located in Farmingdale, New York (NY). The Level II Medical Technologist will be responsible for performing and analyzing laboratory tests to support clinical research, ensuring quality control, regulatory compliance, and accurate data reporting in a fast-paced lab environment. The Level II Medical Technologist will need to sit on-site five days a week in Farmingdale, NY.

Responsibilities of the Level II Medical Technologist:
- Conduct diagnostic and research laboratory tests with precision, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and automation systems, ensuring optimal performance through routine checks and preventive maintenance.
- Monitor and document quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Record and manage test data and sample tracking information for regulatory compliance and reporting purposes.
- Participate in proficiency testing and continuous improvement initiatives within assigned lab sections.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a contamination-free environment and support efficient laboratory workflows.
Qualifications for the Level II Medical Technologist:
- 3-7 years of relative experience.
- Valid New York State license as a Medical Laboratory Scientist is mandatory.
- Preferred ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Specialist.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and quality control procedures.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory or research environment is desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
Compensation for the Level II Medical Technologist:
- Salary Range : $47-$50/hour (bonus eligible)
