Requirement for a remote Strategic Planner (Technical PM) to provide transformation and standardization of business processes and enabling materiel solution with an integrated capability for planning, scheduling, and executing organic depot maintenance to support agile planning, optimized workload assignment, resource allocation, and integrated quality. Will be working with a web-enabled system implementing a configured Oracle enterprise Business Suite (eBS) Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software product. This is supplemented with the integration of other necessary eBS suite modules plus Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions-Workflows objects which are deemed necessary to provide the required functionality. Interfaces with various legacy systems to support continuous operations within the depot maintenance environment.

The Strategic Planner (Technical PM) shall lead the development of comprehensive strategic plans that support organizational goals by analyzing software development and internal capabilities. This involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources to inform strategic decisions, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative data to identify opportunities, risks, reduce cost and trends as well as improve the overall efficiency of execution.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain close collaboration with team leads, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives across the organization
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and other metrics to monitor the effectiveness of strategic initiatives, providing regular updates and recommendations for adjustments
  • Provide functional/mission support expertise as inputs to program-developed programmatic/engineering documentation
  • Assist in establishing, integrating, and institutionalizing common standards, repeatable processes, practices, tools and persistent functions leveraging industry and Client practices
  • Assist in the development of program road maps and metrics
  • Develop and evaluate potential scenarios to anticipate changes in the business environment and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Prepare and deliver briefings on strategic plans and initiatives to senior leadership and other key stakeholders (Effective communication is crucial)
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Oracle eBS suite modules plus Reports, Interfaces, Conversions and Extensions-Workflows objects which are deemed necessary
  • Must use proven engineering techniques to perform the tasks and shall employ commercial best practices and innovative solutions where those actions are not in conflict with Client requirements
  • 6-10+ Years of Experience
  • Experience using the suite of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access
  • Must have the ability to travel, as needed, within the Continental United States to Support the program
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work with cross functional teams
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, process implementation skills
  • Should have ability to understand complex user issues, research answers, and provide working, hands-on knowledge and support to users
  • Strong planning and project management ability
