Job Details



The IT Support Specialist - Level 2 plays a critical role in delivering advanced technical support across hardware, software, networking, and system-related issues. This position serves as a key escalation point for complex technical challenges, bridging Level 1 support and senior IT staff. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to continuous improvement in IT service delivery.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Provide second-tier support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.

  • Diagnose and resolve complex problems involving operating systems, business applications, and connectivity.

  • Maintain and update IT documentation, including troubleshooting guides and installation procedures.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to enhance support processes and service quality.

  • Troubleshoot network issues, including VPN access and Wi-Fi connectivity.

  • Support Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint) and other business-critical tools.

  • Log and document resolutions to contribute to the internal knowledge base.

  • Mentor and guide Level 1 support and Help Desk staff.

  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and best practices in IT support.


Qualifications:
Education: Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years in IT support or a related technical role.
Technical Skills:



  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite and Azure services

  • Skilled in Entra administration and troubleshooting

  • Experience with AWS cloud services, identity management, and firewall configurations

  • Familiarity with network infrastructure (HP/Aruba, Cisco, SonicWall, Unifi)

  • Strong analytical and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
