Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Senior Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to deliver outcomes of assigned projects and work independently on topics while setting priorities and having sole responsibility.
Expectations and Tasks:
Handle complex issues in own area of cross-functional or cross-country projects. Make decisions or solutions to enhance current and future design and strategy. Enhance complex systems or processes. Represent SAP to customers and communicate clear and conveying processes and policies in a way that is easily understandable. Advocate for the end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors and usage patterns. Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies and practices and integrate those into current and future development efforts. Support both the Delivery and Operation organizations. Develop and provide systems, applications, products and services to optimize or automate business processes, improve work efficiency, and provide the expert support in operations. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Facilitate the service lifecycle and product lifecycle. For Delivery, act as a technology expert to execute technical feasibility studies or solution reviews. Define or review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Customize and develop enhancements. Implement the solutions and provide technical documentation. For Operation, act as a cross functional technology expert to execute and support problem management and continuous improvement. Participate in de-escalation activities. Contribute to the Build to Run engagement and to the definition of technical standards and frameworks.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated customer sites.

The targeted combined range for this position is $125,611 - $205,200.
