Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management & Logistics Technician to join our technology operations team. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting hardware deployment across the organization. A critical component of this position is expertise in Mac imaging and provisioning, ensuring seamless setup and delivery of Apple devices to end users.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Asset Management & Logistics Technician to join our technology operations team. This role is responsible for managing the lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting hardware deployment across the organization. A critical component of this position is expertise in Mac imaging and provisioning, ensuring seamless setup and delivery of Apple devices to end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate records of all IT hardware and peripherals in the asset management system.
- Track asset lifecycle from procurement to decommissioning.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with company standards and security policies.
- Coordinate shipping, receiving, and distribution of IT equipment across multiple locations.
- Prepare and stage hardware for deployment, including laptops, desktops, and accessories.
- Manage RMA processes and vendor returns.
- Perform Mac imaging using industry-standard tools (e.g., Jamf, Apple Configurator, or similar).
- Configure and enroll devices in MDM solutions.
- Ensure devices meet security and compliance requirements before deployment.
- Work closely with IT support teams to fulfill hardware requests and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes related to IT assets.
- Provide guidance on best practices for asset handling and storage.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in Mac imaging and deployment (Jamf or similar MDM experience required).
- Strong understanding of IT asset management principles and inventory control.
- Familiarity with Windows imaging and deployment processes (preferred).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ITIL practices or asset management frameworks.
- Knowledge of shipping logistics and vendor coordination.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.).
